HORR 2021

The committee have determined that, in light of the current pandemic, it will not be possible to run an on-water event as originally planned on 20th March 2021.  We are exploring a range of options to offer an online/virtual event of some kind and will provide further information about this when decisions are made.   We look forward to welcoming you all back to the Championship Course in 2022 and in the meantime, we hope that everyone stays safe. .

New Pennants 2020

The Head of the River Race Committee is pleased to announce that for the 2020 race we will be offering the following additional pennants: Junior Men Masters Men B, C and D The Committee hopes that by including these events Masters men’s crews travelling long distances to race will have the opportunity of racing for pennants at both head races for which they are eligible over the course of the weekend. 2019 Race round-up

Thank you for joining us for Head of the River Race 2019 Results can be found here: Results 2019 Photos are available from WEROW We had a great response to some women’s crews joining us following the cancellation of WeHORR 2019 due to adverse weather conditions and congratulations to Tideway Scullers School women’s eight who have the only Fairbairn Head Medals ever awarded to a women’s crew.

We ask that any crew/competitor who would […]
