Older readers may recall that up to the early 1980\u2019s we accepted all ages, and it is only since then (and the founding of the Vesta Vets HOR) that our age profile has been weighted towards younger oarsmen. What is more, giving one\u2019s age used not to be a part of the entry process.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to hear from you if you believe that you \u2013 or someone in a crew with you \u2013 might be the oldest in either of the categories mentioned . Needless to say some form of evidence would help greatly, but it might be possible for us to confirm a story through a third party.
